MEET US!

OUR STORY

We are a Mom & Daughter team striving to follow our passions in working with children and making a positive impact in our community. We share the value of building a strong foundation for a long life of learning ahead. Our story begins over 10 years ago, when Woodland Schoolhouse was originally founded. Xochitl ran a beautiful preschool for a few years and then decided to sell in order to devote more time at home to her growing family. However, we are ready for this new chapter and have decided to open doors once again! We are absolutely thrilled to bring in Lauryn’s warm, patient, energy and Xochitl’s creativity and nurturing presence to bring Woodland’s story back to life again! We cannot wait to meet you and make wonderful memories with you!

MISS LAURYN
Hello my name is Lauryn!
With a deep passion for nurturing little minds, I find true joy in helping children play, grow, and discover the world around them. My background in business gives me a unique lens through which I bring structure, creativity, and intention to every part of our day. Over the past seven years, I’ve worked in both hospitality and childcare, honing my ability to multitask gracefully, anticipate needs, and remain a steady presence even in the most energetic moments. I’m committed to creating a loving, safe, and inspiring environment — where your child will always feel seen, supported, and celebrated. I treat every child in my care as if they were my own, and it’s an honor to be part of their journey.

MISS XOCHITL
Hello my name is Miss Xochitl! (so-chee)! I am a Mother of five beautiful children, an entrepreneur, and visionary. Over the years I have created learning facilities for all on my children during their infant-preschool years. Throughout my journey, I have been blessed to share my love for children and learning with other families in my community. I strive to build unique relationships--learning each child's quirks and cues, likes and dislikes, strengths and where support is needed, so I can make them feel loved and supported. The biggest reward for me is being apart of the "village" it truly takes to raise a child.
